what kind of student do you choose to be today why do I believe Edward week old is a school that gives some what the kids need not only educational wise but they get more of all they get involved with the kids life and told me make learning fun we strive to build relationships with families and create an ethic of care for each student when the first game the school year NBC bus carry I wish I thought I was not going to make it friends I got in trouble a lot because I used to run away from a teacher's and needed help because I'm liking their head and didn't learn the every time I will bring him to school I will drop him off he was I was crying he wouldn't want to come inside a cast room the dishes will have to help help me where was with us and kindergarten so I'm a first grade teacher so I worked a little bit with his teacher and Kinder knowing that you were tell me enough to first grade and knew some of the behavior problems he was having and trouble connecting with other students in having good social skills with others did so I'm coming into first grade he had a big change in Kinder and come into first week really tried hard to continue the same strategy we had been putting into place with him the previous year the teachers help me out a lot they will go in the class to help them  helping come from be nice to the other kids be polite he really respond well to praise and engagements so my the stuff in the office the principal really work a lot with him and talking with him how's your day going I kind of had a bad day and make it ask him what you do wrong what do you need to do next time and he could verbalize what he needed to do better they helped me stay calm and how to make friends not and in first grade not I love to read they had help me with Omar dental work and his attitude  chinchilla he's a good kid he's been around turn the college  when I first came to Edward B Cole Academy I was in third grade and my class is first class to graduate so and everything in there is new kids and I didn't know anybody so a little nervous and shy as a teacher region of the school and that I really do want my students to have that opportunity to go to university and experience those things that any of their relatives have not I attended Vanguard University and mine are my sight and my majors in Psychology major and I like to be a psychologist why the teachers that made a difference in my life was mr. Higgins he was my third grade teacher he was there he supported me with anything and everything I did when I would change my mind of what career are wanted in the future and hid it was just always there helping me only with me but my family as well and you made a big impact on my entire family each class is a Unity of Learners that's why we as teachers strive to instill in our students the sense of responsibility and how make that commitment to community parents are valued partner in the educational journey of their children what was named after an individual Edward B Cole senior and mr. Cole believed in three very important things one was family secondly you believed in the school and thirdly Heba lived in community not a lot of games like before and I saw a Lot of Things Different better for us that then go challenge Olivia Mythical Morning simply sun protection dellaria Community for matters beyond the bell are staff and teachers are visible in the community in the surrounding neighborhoods since the school move in I seen a change that the neighborhoods more is more cleaner and safer and it's pretty dangerous but I think we've made a really positive impact in this neighborhood and made it quite safe by just being here what about EBC Academy I consider supporting our school check out our website at EBC academy.com or better yet come on campus take a tour and see us first-hand
