Welcome to our First grade Class!

       My name is Zehra Waliuddin and I am excited to teach first grade this year. 

My Philosophy

My mission is to develop within each student the desire to reach his or her full potential. I want to give students the opportunity to build on their strengths and achieve success. It is my goal to develop and nurture a passion for learning, a responsibility for completion, and an internal motivation that will guide each child to become a lifelong learner. I want to help students become more self-confident and to leave my class proficient in their skills and believing that I truly cared for them and to know that each and every one of them is Special.

About Me

I got my Bachelors of Science in Dietetics and Food Science  from California State University Long Beach and my Masters in Education / Curriculum and Instruction from University of Phoenix.

I love spending time with my family and I enjoy riding my bike, reading, and traveling!
