Witness the Release of our 9th Monarch Butterfly!

On Thursday, November 20th, Mrs. Huerta's students were invited to join Mr. Zimmers class to get a quick lesson on the cycle of a butterfly and witness the release of a beautiful Monarch Butterfly. The release took place at EBC's official Monarch Butterfly Waystation, a flower and vegetable garden that attracts Monarch Butterflies.

According to Mr. Zimmer this marks the ninth butterfly released this week at EBC with a few more to come on Friday.

Mr. Norton (Director) joined in on the fun by helping to wrangle the butterfly out of the container in which Mr. Zimmer and his class raise the Monarchs.

Come stop by and see the garden and witness the beauty of the other insects and various plants that are growing. Don't be surprised if one of Mr. Zimmer's students meets you outside to give you a tour of the garden and facts about the Monarchs, aphids, and lady bugs that call EBC's garden home.
